Forestandarb would like to take the time out to thank all the people that came and saw us at the APF show. We found it a very enjoyable show with lots of things to see and do with good weather too.  

04/09/2008                           Husqvarna Launch of new chainsaws

Husqvarna have launched new chainsaws in the summer/autumn sales programme, it see's the launch of nine new saws and one re-launched (575xp Now 576xp)

All new saws are X-TORQ, This new patened X-Torq technology delivers high torque even at low rpms which means more power. It also delivers up to 20% fuel saving and 60% lower emissions.

LowVib the anti-vibration system insulates the saw handles from the engine and cutting equipment by the use of long life springs that are less sensitive to oil, fuel, temperature changes and uv light.

Air Injection a unique function which removes dust and woodchips from the intake air before the air reaches the carburetor. this means the saw can be operated for longer periods.

APF 2008

The APF Exhibition is the largest exhibition and display of forestry, woodland, arboriculture, utilities and estate management machinery, equipment, supplies and services in the UK.   The event has something of interest for both the trade and the general public.  There is wide variety of arena events, competitions and displays, many of which you will not see anywhere else and it is a fantastic opportunity to compare rival machines in a realistic working environment and learn what goes on in the UK's woodlands.
