Forest Log Splitters are designed for heavy duty domestic and commercial use. The SF81 log splitter has a 6hp Robin Subaru engine driving powerful hydraulics which exert an 8 tonne splitting force on the log. It is an upright log splitter which means that you do not have to bend over the machine when in operation. With dual hand controls safety is ensured - both levers need to be operated simultaneously and are fitted with log gripping jaws to keep the log firmly in position. The solid splitting wedge is adjustable for height to suit the size of log being split. This saves time in that the wedge is not traveling too greater distance before it starts splitting. The log table itself has three different positions for extra comfort. This also reduces the height you have to lift the log in the first place.
