Whether near hospitals, daycare centers or in residential areas, the AS 470 E-ProClip A is the ideal machine for lawn care in urban areas. The battery drive enables emission-free work without exhaust fumes or noise. Tiring hand-arm vibrations are massively reduced and maintenance is minimized. The new 56 Volt AS-Motor Electric drive has the power of a conventional 200 cm3 gasoline engine. It is supplied with energy by one or two professional hand batteries with 10 Ah each. Together, they provide an enormous 1.120 watt-hours of energy.
Constant speed, a special mulching blade and special wheels with double ball bearings result in a perfect cutting pattern. The cutting height can be adjusted centrally from (30)40-80 mm.
With 47cm cutting width and traction drive, the AS 470 E-ProClip A is perfect for maintaining medium-sized lawns. In case of collisions, the engine is protected in the best possible way by a third engine shaft bearing and a slip clutch on the blade.
A deep mulching unit delivers even finer cutting results. The mulching blade cleanly cuts grass up to 18 cm high and simultaneously generates an airflow that whirls the cuttings in the mulching unit. The mulching blade’s multiple cutting edges chop and mulch the grass several times. The cuttings then sink into the turf, forming a layer of mulch that both fertilises and protects the lawn from drying out. The AS 470 ProClip 4T saves 30% more time when compared with collection bag lawn mowers by avoiding the need to empty the collection bag or dispose of the cuttings.
