ART POSITIONER with Swivel
Talking about shortening lanyards, the ART positioner has become the climbers´ first choice since its coming into existence, being state-of-the-art, so to say. The positioner is jammed on the rope when it is loaded. In contrast to other, commonly used jammers, the lifeline with the positioner can not only be shortened one-handedly, but also lengthened under load.
Positioning is absolutely without jolts thanks to the use of the unique Lockjack principle. The release handle was redesigned under ergonomical point of view what makes handling more convenient still. The positioner works on 0.43-0.51 in (11-13 mm) climbing ropes and on sheathed flexible steel cables like e. g. the Flex Fly.

The positioner is available with carabiner receptacle joined rigidly or via swivel alternatively. The advantage of the swivel is that a twisting of the device is prevented due to an optimum compensation of unavoidable rope twists. Thanks to the swivel, the positioner always stays in the correct position and allows an extremely convenient handling in any situation. All parts of the positioner are replaceable. All purchased devices can be re-equipped with the swivel and the spring operated cam.
