Here is our newest product that will make life in trees easy. With the Spikepod, you can change the foot strap on your climbing spurs, spikes, or irons with a ratchet system.

This way, you can get rid of your old clips and make changes while the spikes are still on your foot. Most types of climbing irons can use the straps, which are attached to a ladder and ratchet by a leather strap made by hand in the UK.

 

IMPORTANT

Before heading out please take time to adjust your straps and tighten all the screws - and for added security add a drop of loctite once your desired set up is found. The system is fully customisable, but like all your kit it should be inspected before use.

 

With this method, you can even make changes while you're up in the tree, so there's no need to fiddle with belts.
