Stein Elevate Aluminum Climbing Spikes Description

STEIN ELEVATE Climbing Spurs, brand-new.

The 5-degree off-set tilt of the one-piece aluminium shank allows the spur to line up with your stance and makes it easier to apply the downward power needed straight from the leg through the gaff into the pole or trunk. For added durability and protection of the aluminium, the shank has been hard anodized. 

A set of adjustment holes on the shank allow for a 90mm height variation. The Calf Pad is attached using specially created threaded inserts, which eliminates any cross-threading concerns by preventing threading the holes in the spurs.

Because every climber's lower legs and calves are unique, the ELEVATE Calf Pad is made of 2mm aluminium and can be adjusted to fit your calves better than solid pads. This attribute enables a tighter fit around your calf.  In order to improve climber comfort, the Calf Pad includes a 90mm height variation and the ability to be 4-degrees off-center.

The washable inner pad has vertical ribs for increased comfort and ventilation, and it is fastened to the aluminium shell with a strong hook and loop closure.

For a snug, secure fit, the ELEVATE Spurs are fastened to the leg utilising a 100mm wide Hook & Loop system and a conventional synthetic leather strap with buckle.
