This world-class chipper is the biggest gravity-fed self-feeding option from Hansa. It has an extremely heavy-duty cutting disc with a 130 mm diameter chipping capacity, so it can meet the needs of even the most demanding operator. The electric start on the V-twin engine makes it easy to start, and the shape of the inlet chute makes it easier to feed in thicker branches and leaves.
The powerful 21 HP Honda GX630 engine drives the C21RT. An industry grade electric start engine. Together with Honda, we did a thorough engine-matching test plan to make sure that the capabilities of the C21RT and the power of the Honda GX630 are perfectly in sync. This will keep the chipper and engine running well for a long time.
The C21RT does an excellent job of feeding itself. The big 80 kg cutting disc spins at 1800 RPM, which creates a force that keeps the machine going. The wing-shaped cutting disc makes a draught that pulls leaves quickly and efficiently into the machine through the 200 x 285 mm infeed hole. The 1885 mm height of the exit chute lets the user put chip on a trailer, ute, truck or stockpile.
Designed and made in New Zealand with high-quality parts that will last a lifetime. The Soft Start Technology connects the belts between the engine and the cutting disc so that the engine runs smoothly and is protected from shock loads.
It is long-lasting because it is made of steel and has a strong powder-coated finish with zinc shield rust protection.
By taking off two bolts on the housing, regular service and maintenance can be done quickly and easily. The two knives made of A8 modified steel last a long time and can be sharpened up to 10 times. You can easily get to the belts by taking off the belt guard.
