Smallholders, orchardists, and others need look no further. Simply connect this chipper to your 540 RPM PTO to create a machine with the same possibilities as its engine-powered counterpart. With easy access to the knives and belts, maintenance is a breeze. Suitable for any compact tractor with a horsepower range of 17 to 45.
The C13PTO expands the capability of your tractor. All tractors with 17 to 45 HP and a 540 RPM PTO drive are compatible. A low centre of gravity offers a comfortable ride over tough terrain with this 191kg chipper. Hitch the unit to your tractor and reach those hard-to-reach places with ease. It comes with a PTO shaft.
The C13PTO provides exceptional self-feeding performance. The cutting disc weighs 36 kg and revolves at 1530 RPM, providing self-perpetuating inertia. The draught created by the winged cutting disc quickly and effectively sucks leaves into the machine through the 170 x 220 mm infeed hole. The 1450 mm outlet chute height allows the user to load chip onto a trailer, truck or stockpile.
Engineered and built in New Zealand using high-quality components to last a lifetime. The belt drive between the engine and the cutting disc ensures smooth operation and protects your PTO drive from shock loading.
Longevity is ensured by the use of steel and a durable powdercoated finish with zinc shield rust prevention.
By removing two bolts on the housing, you have easy access for routine repair and maintenance. The two A8 modified steel knives are extremely durable and may be sharpened up to ten times. Simply remove the belt guard to have access to the belts.
