ISC is proud to present the 200 Series, the Next Generation of ISC Rigging Pulleys. This RP251 is the version that will run up to 16mm rigging rope.
ISC has been making 'Solutions in Metal' and safety products that are the best in their field for over 50 years at their factory in North Wales, which is also where the Rigging Pulleys are created and made.
ISC asked themselves, "What's next?" when they began this project. How could ISC improve the Rigging Pulleys that are already the best in the business? ISC knew that the most important things to customers were the pulleys' strength and dependability, as well as the hugely famous SpringLock locking system. So the team took on the task and made these features better.
Because the 200 Series Pulleys are so much stronger now, ISC had to rethink the pulley plates from the very beginning. ISC used cutting edge stress analysis tools to reshape and shift the material in the hot-forged high-strength aluminium frames. This made a big difference in how they worked under load to increase their strength.
ISC then added a special axle/frame linking design using heat-treated, hardened stainless steel axles. This makes it less likely for the frame to bend or deform when it's under a lot of stress. ISC made pulleys that are up to 150% stronger than the ones that came before them. They are made to handle even the hardest wiring jobs with ease.
What ISC had to figure out next was how to make the locking process better. Customers know they can trust ISC pulleys to work well and be easy to use, and the new "SafeLock" system builds on those qualities. Although it has a very low profile, the new SafeLock locking device still works quickly like a SpringLock.
