The STIHL FUNCTION Core trousers (Type A) are a smart entry-level option for both private and professional chainsaw work. Designed for comfort, breathability, and a lightweight feel, they’re ideal for forestry tasks, cutting firewood, or agricultural use.
These trousers feature a regular fit and are made from breathable materials that help regulate temperature during long working hours. Despite their low weight, they are durable and tough, allowing for a full range of movement while providing reliable cut protection. Integrated kidney protection offers warmth in colder conditions and shields the lower back from scratches or impact when working on challenging terrain. A PFAS-free water-repellent finish adds an extra layer of protection against moisture.
For increased visibility, the trousers include reflective silver stripes, a neon green detail on the back pocket, and high-visibility orange accents to help ensure you're seen in low-light environments.
Functional design details include attachment points for STIHL braces via waistband loops and buttons, two easily accessible side pockets, a back pocket, a thigh pocket, and a ruler pocket—providing ample space for gloves, tools, and other essentials.
