Cordless hedge trimmer with very powerful cutting performance for demanding applications, such as trimming bushes and tall hedges. Laser-cut, diamond-ground and hardened blades, blade geometry in a patented teardrop shape for perfect cuts and a healthy hedge. Effortless and ergonomic working thanks to optimal power tool balance, rotatable multi-function handle, loop handle with inner switch, and STIHL anti-vibration system. Anti-block system for easy change of the cutting blades' rotational direction in the event of blockages.
Working time with recommended AK 10 battery (Not Included) is up to 70 minutes.

Swivelling multi-function handle - The handle rotates by 90° to the left and right, ensuring the best cutting position at all times.
Teardrop-shaped shrub cutter - The double-sided shrub cutter with proven STIHL teardrop-shaped teeth delivers top cutting performance. The teardrop shape means that branches are held securely at the blade for perfect cutting results. The shrub cutter’s bar length of 200 mm is ideal for precisely shaping small-leaved ornamental trees and hedges.
Anti-vibration system - Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
STIHL electric motor - The STIHL electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient, lightweight and compact. It runs quietly, generates very low vibrations and does not require servicing.
Hanging loop - Hang your tool securely on a wall to save space using the loop in the handle housing.
Two Handed Design - This tool is easily started by activating both switches on the loop handle and the rear handle at the same time. The cutting speed is continuously variable using the rear control, for a fine and precise cut.
