The MSA 220 T is the STHL cordless top-handle saw with the highest capacity to date. This expert arborist saw is perfect for trimming the crown, removing dead timber, and removing trunk pieces.
It has an electronic trigger system with an unlock button for straightforward saw activation, making it simple to use. Additionally, the top handle's LED display provides information on the chainsaw's working status and the chain break position.
Excellent cutting performance, side-mounted chain tensioning, a tool-free oil tank cap, and a captive nut on the sprocket cover are all included. Additionally, the air filter is simple to clean for extended service life and optimum engine cooling.

Intuitive controls and a bright LED display - The MSA 300 features intuitive controls and a bright LED display. Three speed settings limit the chain speed to 20, 24 or 30 m/s, meaning the user can maximise battery life when completing less intensive tasks such as snedding or brashing. Status of the chain brake and temperature warnings are also displayed in red.
Side chain tensioner - The tensioning screw can be found on the side of the chain saw through the sprocket cover. This removes the need for contact with the sharp saw chain.
Captive nuts - When changing the cutting attachment, you will not risk losing the nuts on the sprocket.
Fleece filter - The fleece filter in our new MSA 300 guarantees consistent performance – even in extreme conditions. Its extraordinarily finepored filter material keeps even very fine dust and dirt away from the power electronics and electric motor. To clean it, remove the fleece filter and spray it with STIHL Varioclean, briefly leaving it to work before rinsing out with warm water and letting the filter dry. Then it is ready to use again.
Fold-out hook - The fold-out hook serves as a carrying rope attachment for lowering the arborist saw and for security. When it is pushed in, the hook doesn't get in the way of your work or when it's in storage.
