The STIHL BRA 600 is the most powerful battery-powered backpack leaf blower in STIHL’s range, developed specifically for professional users. As part of the STIHL AP System, it is powered by two AP batteries driving a high-performance 72-volt motor. This delivers an exceptional maximum blowing force of 35 newtons, matching the output of the BR 700 petrol professional backpack blower and exceeding the BRA 500 by 3 newtons.
Designed for the toughest commercial clearing work, the BRA 600 is ideally suited to maintaining parks, fields, paths, streets and large open areas. Its outstanding blowing force easily moves heavy and wet leaves, grass cuttings, hedge trimmings and general debris. As with all AP System tools, constant power output ensures performance remains consistent throughout the entire battery charge.
Despite a working weight of 14.5 kg with two AP 500 S batteries fitted, the BRA 600 offers excellent balance and comfort. The batteries and motor are positioned close to the operator’s back, improving weight distribution and reducing fatigue compared to traditional petrol backpack blowers. The ergonomic padded carrying system, shared with the BR 800 petrol blower, provides excellent support during extended working periods.
Integrated STIHL noise reduction technology helps minimise high-frequency sound. Low fan RPM combined with effective insulation makes the BRA 600 more suitable for use in noise-sensitive environments such as schools, parks and public spaces.
An aluminium base tube improves durability and makes transporting the blower easier. The electronic control handle allows quick selection between Low, Mid, High and Boost modes, while displaying battery charge status, cruise control, connectivity and diagnostic information. STIHL Connected is built in as standard. An optional adjustable round nozzle is available separately, allowing users to switch between maximum air speed or air volume depending on the task.
The BRA 600 must be operated with two AP batteries and cannot be used with a single battery. For maximum runtime, STIHL recommends using two AP 500 S batteries.
